Tim Rosene

Tim Rosene was raised in West Fargo and graduated from West Fargo High School in 1992. Since courses like history and geography didn't spark his interest he furthered his education and attended Thief River Falls Aviation Technical School where he obtained his Airframe and Power Plant Certification. This led Tim to 7 years of employment with The Boeing Aircraft Company in Everett, Washington. During this period he was able to do significant remodeling on his own home and was also very involved with many projects among friends and co-workers helping improve their homes as well. His employment lasted until major layoffs by Boeing after the tragic circumstances of September 11, 2001. Tim's long-term goal had always been to get back to the Fargo area and the virtual shutdown of aircraft production prompted his decision to return. Tim returned to work locally at the Fargo Jet Center still with a desire to work in the home remodeling business and start his own company. In April of 2008 Tim started "Studs to Rugs" (He has to thank his mother for the name). Starting with just a few acquaintances and references the company has now grown to over 10 full time employees with many satisfied customers. Just as in aircraft maintenance Tim feels that there is no margin for errors when a customer entrusts you with their largest investment, their home. Tim welcomes the opportunity to meet with you personally and discuss some of the dreams you may have to make your home a residence you and your family will be proud of for years to come.
 

Alex was born and raised in Cromwell, Minnesota and now resides in Fargo/Moorhead. Following high school, he attended Hamline University and Itasca Community College where he played football at both schools. After college, he worked as an Estimator and Project Manager for a spray foam insulation company near Duluth, Minnesota for 3 years and then worked as Sales Consultant in the auto industry for another 3. These experiences built his appreciation for outstanding customer service and how the little things make the biggest difference. His ultimate goal is completely satisfied clients on every job. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, cooking, movies and anything to do with football.

Shanda Heidt was raised in Mandan ND and graduated from Mandan High in 1997. She attended Minot State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. In her free time she enjoys camping, traveling and spending time with her family.

Duane Shirek was born and raised in Michigan, ND. In 1970, he moved to Grafton ND where he worked for Brodeur Construction, doing everything from operating a crane and steel work to finish carpentry. In 1990, he established his own company, Dewy’s Woods and Drywall. He continued to do woodworking, but added drywall, taping and texturing to his list of accomplishments. In 2005, he and his wife Kathy moved to Fargo. After many years of working on his own, he felt the need to be part of a team. With an eye for detail and pride in a job well done, he will do his best to meet the needs of Studs to Rugs customers.

Paul Ogard was born and raised in Ada MN. After college, he decided to pursue a career in construction. After working for the local lumber yard and another local contractor, he decided to start his own business which he operated for 25 years. He brings a total of 36 years of experience in construction and can work every detail from the ground up.

Aaron Dahle was born and raised in Bismarck, North Dakota where he achieved the level of Eagle Scout in 1999 and graduated high school in 2001. Later he graduated from Bismarck State College with an Associates degree in Applied Arts History and an Associates degree in Applied Science Carpentry. In 2008 Aaron took schooling one step further and graduated from Minnesota State University of Moorhead with a Bachelors of Science degree in Operations Management. Aaron says “carpentry has been in my family for generations and since I was a young kid I have always enjoyed building. My passion for building led me to attend carpentry school where I learned the fundamentals of quality craftsmanship and home building. These are the skills that I use every day to bring you, the customer, the quality product you deserve”.

Cody Kraker was born in Melrose, MN where some of his favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing, and basketball. He then moved to Fargo where he started in the construction industry. After honing his skills in drywall on the enormous Edgewood Vista building, he decided to bring his 2 plus years of taping experience to the Studs to Rugs team. Now instead of meeting the strict deadlines of large projects, he works toward meeting the strict standards of quality that Studs to Rugs delivers to all of its customers.

Mike is originally from New London, MN. Mike has been around the electrical trade for his whole life and most of his skills he learned growing up where he was taught by his father. Mike got his hands dirty throughout high school working in the electrical field. He graduated from New London-Spicer in 2004 and continued to pursue the electrical trade. Mike has now been a full-time electrician for seven years. In his free time Mike enjoys hunting and fishing. He participated in hockey, football and track, as well as being a youth hockey couch for five years. With Mike’s lifelong experience in his trade he is a perfect fit for the Studs To Rugs team and is sure to finish every project with top quality.

Martin grew up in Bigfork, MN. After graduating high school, Martin worked several different jobs in the construction field. He eventually found that his calling is in the carpentry trade so he went on to become a finish carpenter. Martin now has ten years of experience and always completes his projects with the highest of quality and a great attitude.

Logan Rosene is the youngest member of our family at “Studs to Rugs”. He recently graduated preschool and is currently attending grade school where his focuses will be on math and reading. Logan loves being around the guys and is always there whether to lend a hand, grab a tool, bring some refreshing drinks or sweep up after a long days work. Logan’s hobbies include playing baseball, swimming, running through the neighborhood with his friends and just hanging out watching a movie with Dad.
